The Managed Service is designed to augment a client’s existing internal ERP support and development function and provides an expert layer of ERP capability to ensure a client’s users and stakeholders receive the best possible application experience.
There are many ways the Managed Service can assist a client, they can include:
• Releasing the internal systems administrator from the day-to-day management of the system so that they can engage on a project initiative.
• Providing vacation or unplanned absence cover
• Delivering expert Unit4 ERP knowledge which can be hard to hire and retain for customers internally.
• Additional capacity during busy periods and times of change such as upgrades.
• Delivering specialist technical skills when needed to support hard to find capabilities such as creating / altering AG16’s, writing SQL and report creation.
Performing the day-to-day tasks that the systems administrator is commonly responsible for. This can include setting up new users, amending workflows and reports, clearing process queues, active monitoring of the service, new hires and terminations etc.
No ERP related issue is too big or small – if something is not working in the way you expect, you can log that problem with us to investigate. Our team will knowledge transfer as much of the solution to you as you have time for to ensure your team can be as self-sufficient as possible moving forwards. Where we cannot immediately resolve a problem (if it is customer hardware related, for example) our team will advise on potential solutions which can be explored.
Whenever questions arise about how to perform a function in the ERP the team at QTC can help by providing working sessions to ensure the customer has a complete understanding. Additionally, this extends to providing guidance on best practice and end-user and system admin training.
The service can be utilized to deliver regular tasks and housekeeping items such as creating Intel Agents, setting up new forms, running AG16s, creating or amending Workflow, updating access / permissions. Report Writing – Creating or updating any ERP reports. This can also include assisting with the design / scoping of reporting requirements as well as report conversions to RERX.
